The Golden State Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks collide at the American Airlines Center on Thursday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in a real funk lately as they’ve lost six of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting routed by the Mavericks in a 129-114 road loss on Tuesday. Stephen Curry led the team with 34 points, Damion Lee added 15 points off the bench while Gary Payton chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 45 percent from the field and 13 of 45 from the 3-point line as they struggled right from the start, allowing 68 points in the first half to trail by 12 points going into halftime, before getting blown out in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have been in great form as they’ve won eight of their past 10 games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after taking down the Lakers in a 109-104 road win on Tuesday. Luka Doncic led the team with 25 points, eight rebounds and five assists, Jalen Brunson added 22 points while Dorian Finney-Smith chipped in with 16 points and nine rebounds. As a team, the Mavericks shot 50 percent from the field and 10 of 35 from the 3-point line as they squandered a 21-point lead they built in the first half, before making up for it in the fourth quarter where they held the Lakers to just 17 points to escape with the narrow win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five road games, 0-5 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Mavericks are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record and 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the over is 11-4 in the last 15 meetings overall, the Warriors are 3-10 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall and the Warriors are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in Dallas.

The Warriors are going to be shorthanded once again as Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala are both still out, while Damion Lee and Klay Thompson are both listed as questionable. The Mavericks will again be without Theo Pinson, Tim Hardaway Jr and Marquese Chriss, while Frank Ntilikina and Trey Burke are both questionable. The Mavericks are leading the regular season series by 2-1 and they are clearly the team in better form at the moment. The Warriors are only 1-8-1 ATS in their lats 10 games overall, so I’m sticking with the Mavericks to stay hot with another win.
