The Golden State Warriors travel to the American Airlines Center to take on the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in pretty good form lately as they’ve won four of their past six games and they will be looking to stay hot after making light work of the Mavericks in a 147-116 road win on Thursday. Kelly Oubre Jr. led the team with a career-high 40 points on 14 of 21 shooting, Stephen Curry added 28 points with six assists, Andrew Wiggins scored 18 points while Draymond Green racked up 11 points with 15 assists. As a team, the Warriors shot a sizzling 57 percent from the field and 22 of 43 from the 3-point line as they trailed at halftime, before dominating the second half where they outscored the Mavericks by 73-40 to make it a complete blowout.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have been in a serious slump as they’ve lost seven of their past eight games and they will be hoping to bounce back after Thursday’s disappointing home loss to the Warriors. Luka Doncic led the team with 27 points and six assists, Kristaps Porzingis added 25 points on nine of 16 shooting, Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 19 points while Jalen Brunson chipped in with 18 points off the bench. As a team, the Mavericks shot just 41 percent from the field and 20 of 50 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in control of the contest, until the second half where they went ice-cold.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games as a road underdog, 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record and 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team below .400. The Mavericks are 0-6 ATS in their last six home games, 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record and 1-7 ATS in their last eight games overall.

Head to head, the over is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings overall, the Warriors are 1-7 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and the Warriors are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Dallas.

Eric Paschall is listed as questionable for Saturday so the Warriors will once again be severely shorthanded at the center position, but that didn’t seem to affect them on Thursday. It’s always tough to beat the same team twice in a row in their own building, but the Mavericks have been struggling mightily and I don’t think they will be able to turn it around overnight. I’m expecting a close contest, but the Mavericks are 0-6 ATS in their last six home games and I think that trend continues here as the Warriors pull off the upset.
