The Portland Trail Blazers invade the Chase Center to take on the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

The Portland Trail Blazers have been in a real slump as they’ve lost six of their last seven games and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game skid after getting routed by the Clippers in a 102-90 home loss on Monday. Jusuf Nurkic led the team with 31 points on 12 of 19 shooting, Norman Powell added 29 points while Dennis Smith Jr. chipped in with 13 points and seven assists, but no other player scored more than four points. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 44 percent from the field and a miserly five of 22 from the 3-point line as they fought hard to keep the scores close until the fourth quarter where they scored just 16 points to allow the Clippers to run away with it. Cody Zeller scored just four points on two of seven shooting while Robert Covington scored just two points on one of eight shooting.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in fine form as they’ve won nine of their past 11 games and they will be looking to stay hot after blowing past the Magic in a 126-95 home win on Monday. Stephen Curry led the team with 31 points and eight assists, Andrew Wiggins drained eight 3-pointers to finish with 28 points while Jordan Poole chipped in with 12 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 49 percent from the field and a healthy 20 of 40 from the 3-point line as they held the Magic to just 18 points in the second quarter to take a 21-point lead into halftime, before finishing with a flurry in the fourth quarter to make it a complete blowout in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Trail Blazers are 1-12 ATS in their last 13 road games, 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall. The Warriors are 34-16-1 ATS in their last 51 home games, 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a losing record and 23-6-1 ATS in their last 30 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 25-12 in the last 37 meetings overall and the Trail Blazers are 11-26 ATS in the last 37 meetings in Golden State.

The Trail Blazers have been in terrible shape lately, they are already without CJ McCollum and could also be without Ben McLemore, Anfernee Simons and Cody Zeller who are all listed as day to day. In contrast, the Warriors have been one fire lately and they just destroyed the Magic by 31 points in a game where Wiggins drained eight 3-pointers. The Trail Blazers are only 11-26 ATS in the last 37 meetings in Golden State and I think that trend continues here as the Warriors should be way too good against a shorthanded Trail Blazers lineup.
