Toronto Raptors Betting PreviewÂ
The Toronto Raptors have cooled off a bit recently as they’ve dropped three of their past four games overall and they will be hoping for a better effort after getting trampled by the Lakers in a 110-93 road defeat on Sunday. Scottie Barnes led the team with 22 points, nine rebounds and three assists on 10 of 21 shooting, Sandro Mamukelashvili added 20 points on eight of 12 shooting off the bench while Brandon Ingram chipped in with 19 points, six rebounds and seven assists. As a team, the Raptors shot 42 percent from the field and seven of 32 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 30 points in the first quarter to take an early nine-point lead, but it was all one-way traffic in the other direction from that point onwards as the Raptors went ice-cold and scored just 39 points in the second half to suffer another double digit blowout on the road. Jamal Shead had a rough game as he shot just one of eight for his three points, while Ochai Agbaji finished scoreless on zero of five shooting from the field.
Golden State Warriors Betting PreviewÂ
Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in terrific form as they’ve won six of their last seven games overall and they will be gunning for a fifth straight victory after making light work of the Heat in a 135-112 win last night. Brandin Podziemski led the team in scoring with 24 points off the bench, Stephen Curry added 19 points with 11 assists while Jimmy Butler III chipped in with 17 points and four assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 52 percent from the field and a sizzling 24 of 51 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running with 70 points in the first half, but they couldn’t get any separation until the second half where they played great defense to limit the Heat to just 46 points to set up their fourth straight win by double digits.
Toronto v Golden State Free Prediction
The Raptors are still missing some players with Collin Murray-Boyles, Ja’Kobe Walter, RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl all ruled out, while the Warriors are missing De’Anthony Melton and Seth Curry but they are expecting to have Draymond Green back in the lineup after he was rested last night. The Raptors could really do with a win to get their season back on track after getting smashed by the Lakers in their last game, but I don’t think things will get easier for them as they visit the Warriors who are playing some of their best basketball of the season. These teams last met on Dec 28 and it was the Raptors who won by 141-127 in overtime, but these two squads have been headed in opposite directions ever since with the Raptors stumbling lately while the Warriors have been soaring high. Yes, the Warriors are playing on zero days rest, but they are at home and they have Green back in action, so I will stick with the more consistent Warriors to get the win and cover at this short line.
