Sacramento Kings Betting Preview
The Sacramento Kings have been in terrible form as they were riding a 16-game losing streak before they snapped out of it with a much-needed 123-114 road win over the Grizzlies on Monday. Russell Westbrook led the team with 25 points and seven assists, Precious Achiuwa added 22 points with 12 rebounds while DeMar DeRozan and Daeqwon Plowden each scored 19 points. As a team, the Kings shot 50 percent from the field and 10 of 29 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start with 33 points in the first quarter to jump out in front early, but this was a close contest all the way until the fourth quarter where the Kings went on a crucial 10-0 run to pull away and secure the long overdue victory.
Houston Rockets Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last six games overall and they will be looking to maintain that momentum after blowing past the lowly Jazz in a 125-105 home win on Monday. Jabari Smith Jr led the team with 31 points, nine rebounds, three steals and three blocks on 12 of 17 shooting, Amen Thompson added 20 points on eight of nine shooting while Kevin Durant tallied 18 points with 12 assists. As a team, the Rockets shot a healthy 57 percent from the field and 18 of 40 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 38 points in the first quarter to open up a double-digit lead and they just didn’t take their foot off the gas pedal until the fourth quarter where they led by as many as 33 points.

The Kings are still missing De’Andre Hunter, Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine, while the Rockets have ruled out Amen Thompson, Steven Adams and Jae’Sean Tate once again. These teams have already met three times this season and surprisingly it is the Kings who have won the last two meetings to lead the series by 2-1. The Kings are coming into this one fresh off a nice win over the severely shorthanded Grizzlies, but they were absolutely ice-cold during their 16-game losing streak, so I prefer a play on the Rockets to get some revenge with a comfortable win and cover behind big games from Smith Jr and Durant.
