The Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers meet Tuesday in NBA action at The Arena.

The Phoenix Suns look for another upset victory after a surprising 2-0 start in the NBA bubble. The Phoenix Suns are averaging 112.8 points on 46.5 percent shooting and allowing 113.9 points on 47.4 percent shooting. Devin Booker is averaging 26.2 points and 6.5 assists while Deandre Ayton is averaging 18.8 points and 11.9 rebounds. Kelly Oubre Jr. is the third double-digit scorer and Ricky Rubio is dishing 8.9 assists. The Phoenix Suns are shooting 35.3 percent from beyond the arc and 83 percent from the free thitem line. The Phoenix Suns are allowing 36.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 43.1 rebounds per game.

The Los Angeles Clippers look for a victory, as they’re 1-1 in the NBA bubble up to this point. The Los Angeles Clippers are averaging 116.1 points on 46.3 percent shooting and allowing 109.5 points on 43.6 percent shooting. Kawhi Leonard is averaging 26.8 points and 7.2 rebounds while Paul George is averaging 21.3 points and 3.8 assists. Lou Williams is the third double-digit scorer and Montrezl Harrell is grabbing 7.1 rebounds. The Los Angeles Clippers are shooting 37.1 percent from beyond the arc and 79.1 percent from the free thitem line. The Los Angeles Clippers are allowing 34 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 47.8 rebounds per game.

The Suns are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 Tuesday games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Clippers are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 Tuesday games, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The over is 7-3 in Suns last 10 Tuesday games. The under is 5-1 in Clippers last 6 overall. The Suns are 0-8 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Los Angeles and 2-9 ATS in the last 11 meetings.

The Phoenix Suns have played two poor defensive teams in the bubble, but they’ve won back to back games in the bubble as underdogs and have to have some confidence flowing at the moment. The Los Angeles Clippers are still without two of their better players in Lou Will and Harrell, and at this point you have to be questioning their motivation with them pretty much locked in the second seed. The Suns need to keep winning to give themselves a shot at that eighth seed. Not saying the Suns win this game, but this is a lot of free points to give a hot and motivated Suns squad. I’ll take my chances with the Suns for the third straight game.
