As a team, the Trail Blazers shot just 37 percent from the field and 18 of 53 from the 3-point line as they allowed the Mavericks to get off to a flyer with 37 points in the first quarter and were always playing from behind after falling into an early 19-point deficit. Scoot Henderson had a night to forget as he scored just 10 points on four of 17 shooting from the field and zero of six shooting from the 3-point line.

Kawhi Leonard led the team with 41 points and five assists on 14 of 23 shooting, Paul George added 20 points with six steals while Ivica Zubac chipped in with 18 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks. As a team, the Clippers shot 48 percent from the field and 15 of 34 from the 3-point line as they rode the hot hand of Leonard early on to build an 18-point lead which kept them in control the entire game.
