The Dallas Mavericks have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last seven games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after blowing past the Trail Blazers in a 125-112 road win on Friday. Luka Doncic led the team with 32 points and 10 assists on 11 of 28 shooting, Dante Exum added 23 points with seven assists, Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 20 points off the bench while Derrick Jones Jr. chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Mavericks shot 51 percent from the field and 12 of 39 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Trail Blazers from the start, pouring in 37 points in the first quarter to take a double-digit lead and they were good enough to stay in front for the entire game.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have found a bit of form with three wins in their past five games ovreall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting thrashed by the Timberwolves in a 127-103 loss on Friday. Jaren Jackson Jr. led the team with 21 points on seven of 14 shooting, Desmond Bane added 16 points while David Roddy chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot just 43 percent from the field and 15 of 35 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Timberwolves in the first half, only to get blown out by 38-24 in the third quarter to get blown out in the end. Derrick Rose had a quiet game of just six points on two of seven shooting.

The Mavericks are going to be shorthanded for this one as Kyrie Irving, Josh Green and Grant Williams are all out, while the Grizzlies are still without Marcus Smart, Luke Kennard and Brandon Clarke. The Mavericks have been able to keep their heads above water thanks largely to Doncic who has been a triple-double machine, while the grizzlies were starting to play some good basketball before they ran into the league-leading Timberwolves in their last outing. The Grizzlies are more than capable of pulling off the upset at home, but with the line so short, I have to stick with Doncic and the Mavericks to get the win on the road.
