The Utah Jazz have been in poor form as they’ve lost four of their last five games and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting routed by the Clippers in a 117-103 loss on Friday. John Collins led the team with 20 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks, Keyonte George and Talen Horton-Tucker scored 15 points each while Kelly Olynyk and Collin Sexton scored 13 points apiece. As a team, the Jazz shot 45 percent from the field and nine of 31 from the 3-point line but they fell behind early and never really threatened after falling behind by 18 points.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in pretty good shape as they’ve won nine of their last 12 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after taking down the Warriors in a thrilling 138-136 overtime home win on Friday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 38 points, five assists and five steals, Jalen Williams added 28 points on 12 of 15 shooting, Chet Holmgren scored 21 points while Luguentz Dort chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Thunder shot 52 percent from the field and just five of 29 from the 3-point line as they worked their way back from an early 14-point deficit to extend the game into overtime where they opened with a 15-5 run to escape with the gritty victory.

Jazz vs Thunder Prediction

The Jazz are again missing Walker Kessler and Lauri Markkanen, while the Thunder are keeping an eye on Luguentz Dort who is questionable due to a left ankle sprain. The Jazz could really do with a win to get their season back on track, but they’ve been plagued with injuries for a while now. In contrast, the Thunder have been playing great basketball, they just took down the Warriors in overtime and they have all their key players healthy. The line is hefty for this one, but I think the Thunder make light work of the Jazz here if Markkanen isn’t able to suit up.
