Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have also been in poor form as they’ve lost 12 of their last 14 games overall and they will be looking to snap a three-game skid after falling short to the Timberwolves in a 110-101 road loss on Wednesday. Jaren Jackson Jr led the team with 33 points, 13 rebounds and three steals, Ziaire Williams added 16 points with eight rebounds while GG Jackson chipped in with 14 points on five of seven shooting off the bench. As a team, the Grizzlies shot just 38 percent from the field and 11 of 37 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start and took the lead into halftime, but they allowed 38 points in the third quarter and scored just 16 points in the fourth quarter to allow the Timberwolves off the hook in the end. Vince Williams Jr had a rough game as he shot just four of 15 from the field for his 11 points, while Jordan Goodwin scored just five points on one of eight shooting. The Grizzlies will play against the Nets and 76ers after a back-to-back set against Portland.

The Trail Blazers are still missing a host of players including Scoot Henderson, Malcolm Brogdon and now Deandre Ayton, while the Grizzlies are missing Ja Morant, Brandon Clarke and Desmond Bane to name a few. The Trail Blazers are banged up and struggling to stay competitive with all the injuries piling up and you could say the same about the Grizzlies who have been plagued by injuries all season. You couldn’t back either side with any confidence these days, but the Grizzlies still have the best player on the court in Jackson Jr and I think that will be the difference in a close one.
