We start tonight’s NBA action with the Nuggets vs Knicks Player Prop Bets for Thursday, January 25. The Denver Nuggets are coming to the Big Apple hoping to get the fourth consecutive victory, while the New York Knicks are looking for the fifth win in a row.
Nuggets vs Knicks Player Prop Bets – OG Anunoby Over 18.5 Points and Rebounds (-120)
OG Anunoby has been playing very well since his trade from the Toronto Raptors a few weeks ago. In the last game against the Nets, OG wasn’t an offensive threat, but he impressed defensively with four steals and two blocks.
However, in five straight games before that, Anunoby combined for 19+ points and rebounds. In the Knicks’ uniform, he had 19+ PTS and REB in eight of 12 games. Anunoby is averaging a team-high 36.5 minutes per game, and in three over the last five games, he logged 42+ minutes.
The Nuggets allow 19.7 ppg and 7.1 rpg to the opposing small forwards. Anunoby’s guardian, Michael Porter Jr, is not a very good defender, so I am backing Anunoby to go over in this one. I wouldn’t be surprised if he scores 20+ points here alone.
Aaron Gordon Over 5.5 Rebounds (-105)
You can only imagine how shocked I was when Aaron Gordon registered a miserable one rebound in the most recent game against the Pacers. I backed him to get 6+ boards, but he completely failed me. It’s unimaginable to me that a player with such athleticism and wingspan gets one rebound in 32 minutes on the floor, but Gordon has a chance to make amends on Thursday.
Prior to that win over Indiana, Gordon had 6+ boards in four consecutive games. In three of those he even recorded double-doubles with precisely ten rebounds in each. Gordon will surely get 30+ minutes again, and I expect a tight affair with a lot of missed shots.
That would be an opportunity for Aaron to grab several defensive rebounds and a couple on offense. He averages 2.6 offensive rebounds per game and 6.6 rpg in total this season. If he fails me again in the Nuggets vs Knicks Player Prop Bets, I won’t back him again.
