The New York Knicks travel to the Paycom Center to battle the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night. Here’s a Knicks vs Thunder Prediction.

New York Knicks 

The New York Knicks have been in decent shape as they’ve won three of their last four games and they will be feeling pretty good about themselves after taking down the red-hot Bucks in a 129-122 win on Christmas Day. Jalen Brunson led the team with 38 points and six assists on 15 of 28 shooting, Julius Randle added 24 points with nine rebounds, RJ Barrett added 21 points while Immanuel Quickley chipped in with 20 points off the bench. As a team, the Knicks shot 54 percent from the field and just eight of 26 from the 3-point line, but they stormed out of the gates with 36 points in the first quarter, before they poured on 67 points in the second half to hold off a late charge. 

Oklahoma City Thunder 

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in great shape as they’ve won eight of their last 11 games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the shorthanded Timberwolves in a 129-106 loss last night. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 34 points and nine assists on 14 of 19 shooting, Jalen Williams added 21 points while Chet Holmgren and Lugentz Dort scored 20 points each. As a team, the Thunder shot a sizzling 60 percent from the field and 18 of 39 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 40 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, before they dominated the fourth quarter by 27-15 to make it a statement win at home. 

Knicks vs Thunder Prediction

The Knicks are coming into this game with plenty of momentum after taking down the surging Bucks in a statement win on Christmas Day, while the Thunder just made light work of the Conference-leading Timberwolves at home last night. It’s always tough to play the second game of a back to back set, but the Thunder are heating up now and they have won six of their last seven home games, so I’ll stick with the Thunder at home.
