The Sacramento Kings and the Oklahoma City Thunder do battle once again at the Paycom Center on Tuesday night.
The Sacramento Kings have been in fine form as they’ve won six of their last eight games overall and they will be aiming for a fourth straight victory after beating the Thunder in a 124-115 road win on Sunday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 33 points and eight assists on 11 of 19 shooting, Keegan Murray added 20 points while Domantas Sabonis tallied 14 points with 15 rebounds and eight assists on six of eight shooting. As a team, the Kings shot 52 percent from the field and 18 of 43 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 36 points in the first quarter to jump out to the early lead, but they couldn’t put the Thunder away until they opened the fourth quarter with a 24-17 run to start to pull away and escape with the narrow win.
Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in a rut as they’ve lost four of their last five games overall and they will be hoping to snap a three-game skid after losing to the Kings on Sunday. Isaiah Joe led the team with 24 points on six of 11 shooting, Josh Giddey and Luguentz Dort each scored 18 points while Jalen Williams chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Thunder shot 47 percent from the field and 16 of 40 from the 3-point line as they worked hard to cut a 15-point deficit to just four points, only to get blown away in the fourth quarter. Tre Mann had a night to forget as he finished scoreless on zero of six shooting off the bench.
Looking at the betting trends, the Kings are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Thunder are 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 13-6-3 ATS in their last 22 games overall.
Head to head, the over is 3-1-1 in the last five meetings overall, the Kings are 20-8-1 ATS in the last 29 meetings overall and the Kings are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings in Oklahoma City. The Kings could be shorthanded for this one as De’Aaron Fox is currently listed as questionable with left wrist soreness, while the Thunder will again be missing their leading scorer, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The Kings have been flying under the radar lately as they’ve been quietly been playing some of their best basketball of the season, while the Thunder have been unlucky to lose their best player to injury. The Kings are 20-8-1 ATS in the last 29 meetings overall and the Kings are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings in Oklahoma City, so I’m backing those trends to continue in this one.
