Philadelphia 76ers vs Portland Trailblazers Prediction 3/15/26 NBA Picks Today

The Portland Trail Blazers and the Philadelphia 76ers collide at the Xfinity Mobile Arena on Sunday night.

The Portland Trail Blazers have been in decent shape as they’ve split their last 14 games and they will be eager to build some momentum after beating the Jazz in a 124-114 win on Friday. Jrue Holiday led the team with 25 points and eight assists on 10 of 16 shooting, Scoot Henderson added 25 points on eight of 14 shooting off the bench, Donovan Clingan tallied 21 points with 15 rebounds and six blocks while Deni Avdija chipped in with 17 points and eight assists. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 52 percent from the field and 17 of 46 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sloppy start and looked to be in trouble when they fell behind by 18 points, but they dominated the second quarter by 38-20 to take the lead into halftime before they finished strong in the fourth quarter to cap off the comeback win at home.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been in a rut as they’ve lost five of their last eight games overall but they will be eager to build some momentum after sneaking past the Nets in a 104-97 win last night. Quentin Grimes led the team with 34 points, eight rebounds and four assists on 10 of 22 shooting, Justin Edwards added 19 points on nine of 13 shooting while VJ Edgecombe chipped in with 16 points and seven assists. As a team, the 76ers shot 46 percent from the field and a miserly three of 25 from the 3-point line, but this win was all about their defense as they swarmed the Nets from the tipoff held the Nets to just 31 points in the first half to take a 28-point lead, but even then they still needed to make some clutch shots down the stretch after seeing their lead disappear.

The Trail Blazers have ruled out Shaedon Sharpe and they are keeping an eye on Robert Williams III who is questionable, while the 76ers have ruled out Joel Embiid, Kelly Oubre Jr and Tyrese Maxey again with Andre Drummond upgraded to questionable for this one. These two teams met earlier this season on Feb 9 and it was the Trail Blazers who rolled to a 135-118 win at home, so the 76ers will be eager to get some revenge in this one. However, the 76ers have really been hit hard by injuries lately and they are playing this game on zero days’ rest following an unconvincing win over the Nets last night. With that being said, I think the Trail Blazers will be able to get the win and cover in a relatively comfortable win in this one.
