Phoenix Suns vs Chicago Bulls NBA Picks, Odds, Predictions 3/31/21

The Chicago Bulls travel to the PHX Arena to do battle with the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.

The Chicago Bulls have been in a rut as they’ve lost six of their past seven games and they will be hoping to put an end to a four-game skid after getting routed by the Warriors in a 116-102 road loss on Monday. Nikola Vucevic led the team with 21 points, nine rebounds and six assists, Patrick Williams and Tomas Satoransky each scored 14 points, while Zach LaVine had a night to forget as he scored just 12 points on four of 16 shooting. As a team, the Bulls shot 52 percent from the field and a miserly six of 24 from the 3-point line as they kept up with the Warriors in the first half, before going cold in the second half where they scored just 42 points.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been one of the hottest teams in the league for a while now as they’ve won 12 of their past 15 games and they will be looking to build on their current three-game win streak after last night’s 117-110 home win over the Hawks. Devin Booker led the team with 21 points on eight of 19 shooting, Dario Saric scored 20 points off the bench, Jae Crowder scored 19 points while DeAndre Ayton chipped in with 13 points, 14 rebounds and two assists. As a team, the Suns shot 51 percent from the field and 12 of 32 from the 3-point line as they dominated most of the game to lead by as many as 16 points, before having to rally late after the Hawks tied the game with 3:05 remaining.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bulls are 15-6 ATS in their last 21 road games, 1-8 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a winning record and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall. The Suns are 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days’ rest, 21-8 ATS in their last 29 home games and 38-15 ATS in their last 53 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall and the Bulls are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Phoenix.

The Bulls would’ve been so excited to acquire Nikola Vucevic at the trade deadline, but it hasn’t resulted in wins just yet as they’ve lost six of their last seven. The Suns have been flying under the radar lately, but they’re in great form and are just about at full strength. The Suns are 21-8 ATS in their last 29 home games and I’m backing that trend to continue here.
