The Miami Heat travel to the Moda Center to take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night. Here’s a Heat vs Trail Blazers Prediction.
Miami Heat
The Miami Heat have been in great form as they’ve won eight of their last 10 games overall and they will be gunning for a fifth straight victory after routing the Kings in a 121-110 road win last night. Bam Adebayo led the team with 28 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, Jaime Jacquez Jr added 26 points on 12 of 17 shooting while Kevin Love chipped in with 19 points in just 15 minutes off the bench. As a team, the Heat shot 51 percent from the field and 11 of 30 from the 3-point line as they dominated most of the game to lead by as many as 20 points, before they survived a late scare when the Kings cut their lead to just two points late in the contest. The Heat will take on the Nuggets and Jazz after this one.
Portland Trail Blazers
Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 10 of their last 12 games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a 10-game slide after getting routed by the Hornets in a 93-80 loss on Sunday. Deandre Ayton led the team with 26 points and 19 rebounds on 11 of 16 shooting, Jerami Grant added 15 points with five assists while Anfernee Simons had a shocker of a game as he shot just four of 21 from the field and zero of eight from the 3-point line for his 10 points. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot just 34 percent from the field and a miserly three of 32 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and were never a threat after managing just 34 points in the first half.

Miami Heat Team Facts
- The Heat have lost each of their last seven games against Northwest Division opponents.
- The Heat have failed to cover the spread in each of their last 10 games against Northwest Division opponents following a win.
- Ten of the Heat’s last 11 games as favorites have gone UNDER the total points line.
Heat vs Trail Blazers Prediction
The Heat are going to be missing a couple of players once again with Tyler Herro and Terry Rozier still listed as out, while the Trail Blazers are still without Shaedon Sharpe, Scoot Henderson and Malcolm Brogdon to name a few. The Heat have come to life with eight wins in their past 10 games, and they were impressive in last night’s upset road win at Sacramento, so I’m confident in backing them to replicate that effort against this ice-cold Trail Blazers, who are missing most of their best players.
