The Milwaukee Bucks and the Portland Trail Blazers do battle at the Moda Center on Saturday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in fine form as they’ve won five of their past seven games and they will be looking to stay hot after routing the Wizards in a 112-98 home win on Tuesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with a triple-double of 33 points with 15 rebounds and 11 assists, Jrue Holiday added 22 points on nine of 16 shooting while Bobby Portis chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Bucks shot 50 percent from the field and 12 of 38 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble after squandering an early 17-point lead, but they redeemed themselves in the fourth quarter as they outscored the Wizards by 24-10 in the final 7:14 to win comfortably in the end.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers have been in a real slump lately as they’ve lost six of their past seven games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after coming up short against the Thunder in a 96-92 home loss last night. CJ McCollum and Anfernee Simons each scored 19 points, Jusuf Nurkic added 14 points and 16 rebounds while Tony Snell chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 40 percent from the field and just six of 33 from the 3-point line as they poured in 31 points in the second quarter to take the lead into halftime, before coming up short in the fourth quarter where they managed just 16 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 0-4 ATS in their last four road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record. The Trail Blazers are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 home games, 5-12-1 ATS in their last 18 games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 7-0 in the last seven meetings in Portland, the Bucks are 15-5-1 ATS in the last 21 meetings overall and the Bucks are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Portland.

The Bucks are clearly the team in better form coming into this matchup and they have the advantage of extra rest as they haven’t played since Tuesday, compared to the Trail Blazers who are playing this one on zero days’ rest. The Bucks are 15-5-1 ATS in the last 21 meetings overall and I think that trend continues in this one as the Bucks roll behind another big game from Antetokounmpo.
