The Phoenix Suns invade the Golden 1 Center to do battle with the Sacramento Kings on Monday night.

The Phoenix Suns endured a rough start to the season, but they’re now looking to build on their current four-game win streak after outlasting the Hawks in a 121-117 home win on Saturday. Devin Booker led the team with 38 points on 14 of 21 shooting, Chris Paul steered the offense with 16 points and 13 assists while Jae Crowder chipped in with 15 points and eight rebounds. As a team, the Suns shot 51 percent from the field and 14 of 43 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble after allowing 40 points in the third quarter to trail by 12 points, before rallying in the fourth quarter where they outscored the Hawks by 35-19 to escape with the win.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in decent shape lately as they’ve won four of their past seven games, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after falling short to the Pacers in a 94-91 home loss last night. Harrison Barnes led the team with 22 points and five assists, De’Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield each scored 17 points while Richaun Holmes chipped in with 11 points. As a team, the Kings shot just 36 percent from the field and 10 of 34 from the 3-point line as they rallied back from an early 15-point deficit to take the lead midway through the fourth quarter, only to fall just short as the Pacers responded with a pivotal 10-0 run to steal the game late.

Looking at the betting trends, the Suns are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 46-22-1 ATS in their last 69 games against a team with a winning record. The Kings are 18-7-2 ATS in their last 27 games playing on zero days’ rest and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall and the Suns are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Suns are clearly the team in better form in this matchup, but they will again be shorthanded as DeAndre Ayton has already been ruled out with a lower leg injury. The Kings have been playing better than their record suggests as they had won two in a row before getting stopped by the Pacers last night. This is a tough one to pick, but with the Kings playing the second night of a back to back set, I’m leaning towards the Suns at the short line in this spot.
