The Boston Celtics invade the Frost Bank Arena to battle the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night. Here’s a Spurs vs. Celtics prediction. This article will include a Spurs vs. Celtics pick.
Boston Celtics Betting Preview
The Boston Celtics have been on a tear, as they’ve won 14 of their last 17 games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after running past the Cavaliers in a 109-98 road win on Sunday. Jaylen Brown led the team with 23 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists; Jayson Tatum added 20 points, while Payton Pritchard tallied 18 points with seven assists. As a team, the Celtics shot 44 percent from the field and 15 of 38 from the 3-point line as they set the tone from the tipoff and dominated the first half by 56-36, which gave them more than enough cushion to hold off a late rally from the Cavaliers. Derrick White had a quiet game of just six points on two of nine shooting, while Neemias Queta scored just four points on two of seven shooting.
San Antonio Spurs Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs have won 15 of their last 16 games overall and they will be gunning for a fifth straight victory after making light work of the Rockets in a 145-120 home win on Sunday. Victor Wembanyama led the team with 29 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks on nine of 13 shooting. Stephon Castle added 23 points, while De’Aaron Fox and Keldon Johnson each scored 20 points. As a team, the Spurs shot 58 percent from the field and an efficient 21 of 40 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest with 37 points in the second quarter and they just kept their foot on the gas pedal till the final buzzer to win comfortably despite a quiet game from Devin Vassell, who shot zero of six from the field for his five points.

Spurs vs Celtics Prediction
The Celtics have ruled out Nikola Vucevic again and they are keeping an eye on Payton Pritchard, who is questionable, while the Spurs have ruled out Harrison Barnes and Mason Plumlee once again. These teams already met once this season and it was the Spurs who won by 100-95 back on Jan 10. Both teams have won plenty of games since then, which only spices things up for what should be another close contest. It’s a shame that the Celtics are missing Vucevic, as he would have been handy in this matchup, but they do have Tatum in action for this one and I am finding it hard to resist taking the Celtics as underdogs. I have this game as a total coin flip, so I am leaning towards the Celtics with the points, which could come in handy.
