The Los Angeles Clippers invade the AT&T Center to do battle with the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.

Los Angeles Clippers 

The Los Angeles Clippers have yet to find their footing this season and they were on a six-game losing streak before they snapped out of it with a 106-100 win over the Rockets on Friday. Kawhi Leonard led the team with 26 points, eight rebounds and five steals, James Harden added 24 points with nine rebounds and seven assists while Paul George chipped in with 23 points. As a team, the Clippers shot 43 percent from the field and 13 of 34 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Rockets in a tight contest, until Harden was able to convert on a clutch 4-point play with just 6.0 seconds left on the clock to secure the much-needed win for the Clippers. 

San Antonio Spurs 

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs are in terrible form as they will be hoping to put a halt to an eight-game losing streak after getting thrashed by the shorthanded Grizzlies in a 120-108 loss on Saturday. Keldon Johnson led the team with 22 points, Victor Wembanyama added 19 points with 13 rebounds and eight blocks while Zach Collins and Jeremy Sochan scored 16 points each. As a team, the Spurs shot 43 percent from the field and 15 of 40 from the 3-point line as they dominated early on and poured in 68 points in the first half to build a 19-point lead, only to get comletely blown out by 69-40 in a nightmare second half to lose by double-digits in the end.

The Clippers have only won one game with their new lineup, but they will be feeling so much better after taking down the surprising Rockets in their last outing. On the other hand, the Spurs are now one of the coldest teams in the league and they just lost to the struggling Grizzlies in a new low for them. The Clippers haven’t been a reliable team to bet on this season, but they’re bound to turn things around sooner rather than later and I think they’ve found an ideal opponent in the slumping Spurs. The line is hefty, but I like the Clippers to take advantage of the Spurs’ terrible form.
