The Detroit Pistons are starting to heat up again as they reeled off three straight blowout wins and they will be looking to keep it going after smashing the Grizzlies by 126-110 on Friday. Jalen Duren led the team with 30 points and 13 rebounds on 12 of 15 shooting, Cade Cunningham added 17 points with eight rebounds and 15 assists while Marcus Sasser chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Pistons shot 54 percent from the field and 12 of 35 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 37 points in the first quarter thanks to a quick start from Duren, but this game was relatively closely contested until the third quarter where the Pistons went on a decisive 19-5 run to take a 17-point lead.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have been in a rut as they’ve lost six of their last nine games overall, but they will be feeling a little better after they snapped a two-game skid with a 122-115 win over the Suns on Friday. Brandon Ingram led the team with 36 points, seven rebounds and three assists on 13 of 20 shooting, RJ Barrett added 22 points with six rebounds and five assists on nine of 16 shooting while Immanuel Quickley chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Raptors shot 53 percent from the field and 14 of 27 from the 3-point line as they struggled for most of the game and looked to be headed for another disappointing defeat, before they closed the final 8:00 on a 27-10 run to pull off the much needed comeback win at home.

The Pistons have ruled out Isaiah Stewart but they expect to have Ausar Thompson back in the lineup, while the Raptors have ruled out Collin Murray-Boyles with a thumb injury. The Pistons enter this contest as the hotter team and it’s no surprise to see them open as favorites, especially as they’ve already beaten the Raptors by 113-95 back on Feb 11. The Raptors were able to secure a gritty win over the Suns in their last outing and it wouldn’t be a shock if they pulled off the upset at home, but with the line so short, I can’t resist taking the Pistons who are starting to heat up again.
