The Toronto Raptors play host to the Orlando Magic at the Amalie Arena on Friday night.

The Orlando Magic have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 10 of their past 14 games, but they will be looking to build some momentum after arresting a six-game slide with a 115-106 road win on Wednesday. James Ennis led the team in scoring with 22 points on eight of 12 shooting, Wendell Carter Jr. added 19 points with 12 rebounds and four assists while Michael Carter-Williams and Gary Harris each scored 15 points. As a team, the Magic shot 49 percent from the field and 12 of 27 from the 3-point line as they squandered an early 12-point lead, before outscoring the Bulls by 39-19 in the third quarter to lead by as many as 23 points.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have been in rough shape as they’ve lost 17 of their past 22 games, but they will be looking to build some momentum after sneaking past the Spurs in a 117-112 home win on Wednesday. OG Anunoby led the team with 22 points, Pascal Siakam added 20 points with 11 rebounds and six assists, Malachi Flynn scored 16 points with seven assists while Chris Boucher chipped in with 12 points and 12 rebounds. As a team, the Raptors shot 46 percent from the field and 14 of 30 from the 3-point line as they made the most of their shortage of healthy guards by going big and dominating the boards by 54-42 while making timely 3-pointers down the stretch.

Looking at the betting trends, the Magic are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, 5-1 ATS in their last six games as a road underdog and 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team below .400. The Raptors are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games, 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a losing record and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall.

Head to head, the Magic are 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings in Toronto and the Magic are 0-8 ATS in the last eight meetings overall.

Otto Porter Jr. has been ruled out while Mo Bamba is listed as questionable, so the Magic will be severely depleted once again and it’s a similar situation for the Raptors as Gary Trent Jr. is listed as doubtful while Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby are besting rested in this one. I’d rather stay well away from this game, but if I had to choose, I’d lean towards the Magic to pull off the upset here.
