Tenerife and Unicaja meet Wednesday in Germany BBL basketball action at the La Fonteta.

Tenerife looks for a feel good victory after splitting their last six games. Tenerife is averaging 81.9 points on 56.9 percent shooting and allowing 78.9 points on 52.5 percent shooting. Giorgi Shermadini is averaging 18.3 points and 1.5 assists while Marcelinho Huertas is averaging 13.1 points and 2.5 rebounds. Kyle Singler is the third double-digit scorer and Sasu Salin is grabbing 1.8 rebounds. Tenerife is shooting 35.1 percent from beyond the arc and 80 percent from the free thitem line. Tenerife is allowing 36.2 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 29.9 rebounds per game. Get NBA Picks and NBA Predictions for EVERY GAME at Sports Chat Place.

Unicaja also need a victory here after splitting their last six games. Unicaja is averaging 79.3 points on 50.2 percent shooting and allowing 78.2 points on 54.7 percent shooting. Dario Brizuela is averaging 12.3 points and 2.3 assists while Josh Adams is averaging 11.5 points and 2.2 rebounds. Deon Thompson is the third double-digit scorer and Axel Toupane is grabbing 2.5 rebounds. Unicaja is shooting 33.9 percent from beyond the arc and 78.6 percent from the free thitem line. Unicaja is allowing 33 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 32 rebounds per game.

Tenerife has won five of the last eight meetings against Unicaja, which includes a victory in the most latest contest in September of last year.

It’s hard to get a feel for either of these clubs considering neither was playing good basketball the last time we saw them and we haven’t seen either team play since March. With that said, Tenerife is the far more trustworthy team offensively and has more depth, and it’s the team that’s had the h2h advantage in past meetings. Tenerife has won five of the last eight meetings against Unicaja, and the last meeting was an eight-point victory where they were only outscored in one of the four quarters. Unicaja has had issues on the defensive end and has allowed 90-plus points in three of its last four games overall.

Based on the history between these teams, I’ll lay the bucket with Tenerife.
