The Orlando Magic pay a visit to the Vivint Arena to do battle with the Utah Jazz on Friday night.

The Orlando Magic have been in surprisingly good form lately as they’ve split their last eight games and they will be hoping to stay hot after blowing past the Trail Blazers in a 113-95 road win on Tuesday. Cole Anthony led the team with 23 points, seven rebounds and nine assists, Wendell Carter Jr. and Chuma Okeke each scored 18 points while Gary Harris chipped in with 15 points off the bench. As a team, the Magic shot 48 percent from the field and a sizzling 19 of 38 from the 3-point line as they poured in 60 points in the first half to take a 13-point lead into halftime, before holding the Trail Blazers to just 16 points in the fourth quarter to make it a blowout. Jalen Suggs left the game with an Achilles injury and is listed as questionable for Friday.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have look to have recovered from their five-game losing streak as they are now aiming for a fifth straight win after making light work of the Warriors in a 111-85 home win on Wednesday. Bojan Bogdanovic led the team in scoring with23 points, Donovan Mitchell added 14 points with 10 rebounds and eight assists while Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson each scored 13 points. As a team, the Jazz shot 46 percent from the field and 17 of 51 from the 3-point line, but you can credit this win to their defensive effort as they held the Warriors to just 36 points in the second half to win comfortably despite being shorthanded.

Looking at the betting trends, the Magic are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 road games, 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a win of more than 10 points. The Jazz are 3-11-1 ATS in their last 15 home games, 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record and 8-18-2 ATS in their last 28 games overall.

Head to head, the Magic are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in Utah and the Magic are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall.

The Magic will again be without RJ Hampton, Markelle Fultz and Moritz Wagner, while the Jazz are sweating on the availability of Rudy Gobert and Rudy Gay who are both questionable. The Magic have come to life with four wins in their last eight games, but they fell back down to earth in a big loss to the Raptors on Tuesday and they could be in for another big defeat as the Jazz are really starting to heat up again. The Magic are only 1-5 Ats in the last six meetings overall, so I’m sticking with the Jazz to continue their rise with another win and cover in this spot.
