Gran Canaria look for a victory after winning four of their last six games. Gran Canaria is averaging 81.5 points on 52.3 percent shooting and allowing 82.2 points on 52.5 percent shooting. Demonte Harper is averaging 12.5 points and 1.7 assists while Matt Costello is averaging 11.3 points and 7.8 rebounds. John Shuma is dishing 1.3 assists and Ioannis Bourousis is grabbing four rebounds. Gran Canaria is shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc and 75.9 percent from the free thitem line. Gran Canaria is allowing 37.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 32 rebounds per game.

Valencia look for a spark of consistency after splitting their last six games. Valencia is averaging 85.7 points on 54.6 percent shooting and allowing 78.7 points on 51.3 percent shooting. Bojan Dubilevic is averaging 14.2 points and 1.7 assists while Jordan Loyd is averaging 11.1 points and 1.9 rebounds. Mike Tobey is dishing 0.7 assists and Alberto Abalde is grabbing four rebounds. Valencia is shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc and 80.8 percent from the free thitem line. Valencia is allowing 37.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 33.2 rebounds per game.

Gran Canaria has won the last three meetings against Valencia, which includes a victory in the most recent match in March of this year. Valencia hasn’t beaten Gran Canaria since January of 2019.

Valencia has scored no less than 90 points in three of its first four games back and Gran Canaria has topped 90 points in two of its last three games. There’s also offensive explosions when Gran Canaria and Valencia play each other, as the last five meetings have produced an average of 180.2 points per game. Even the last meeting in March when neither team could hit a shot consistently produced 164 points. The direction of this game seems clear.

Instead of getting involved with a tricky number, I’m going to side with the over on what appears to be a very low line.
