The Cleveland Browns and the Houston Texans meet in week 13 NFL action from NRG Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Cleveland Browns will be out to build on their 23-17 OT win over Tampa Bay in their last game. Deshaun Watson is slated to make his season debut here to replace Jacoby Brissett who has thrown for 2,608 yards, 12 touchdowns and 6 interceptions on 64.1% passing while Nick Chubb has a team-high 1,039 rushing yards with 12 touchdowns and Kareem Hunt also has 361 rushing yards as well this season. Amari Cooper has a team-high 792 receiving yards coming on 57 catches with 7 touchdowns while David Njoku has 464 receiving yards and Donovan Peoples-Jones has 593 receiving yards as well on the year. On defense, Grant Delpit has a team-high 69 total tackles while Myles Garrett has 10 sacks this season.

The Houston Texans will try to snap their losing streak after a 30-15 loss to Miami last time out. Davis Mills has thrown for 2,144 yards, 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions on 61.9% passing while Dameon Pierce leads Houston in rushing with 788 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. Brandin Cooks has a team-high 44 grabs for 520 yards and Nico Collins has 446 receiving yards while Jordan Akins has 300 receiving yards as well this season. On defense, Jonathan Owens has a team-high 92 total tackles including 63 solo tackles while Jerry Hughes has 8 sacks this season.

Cleveland is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games against a team with a losing record and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games following a win while the over is 6-1-1 in their last 8 games against the AFC. Houston is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games against a team with a losing road record while the under is 7-2 in their last 9 games against a team with a losing record.

Well we’ve finally arrived at the Deshaun Watson bowl and there are so many storylines to unpack here. But just looking at it from a game POV, there’s just not much to like about this Texans’ offense if we’re being transparent. It’ll be interesting to see how Cleveland gets along with Watson under center, but right now even that beast the alternative of backing the Texans. I’ll side with Cleveland as Watson has a solid return to the field here.
