Nico Hischier registered a point in each of his last three games, and now when Jack Hughes is out injured, the Swiss center is expected to be one of the go-to guys on offense for the Devils. He scored just once in the previous six games, but Hischier is certainly trying hard.

Over the past four games, Nico had 3+ shots on goal in three, failing to do so only in the latest tilt against the Dallas Stars. When it comes to duels against the Knights in his career, Hischier has 31 shots in nine games, which is 3.44 on average. That is a strong argument for this pick. The Devils are hoping to end the home-ice losing streak, and I expect them to be aggressive from the start.
