Marin Cilic looked very solid yesterday, both in his defeat to Andrey Rublev and in his victory against Alexander Zverev. Cilic is getting the rust off his game after not having played for a very long time due to injury issues. However, Cilic looks very impressive. Marin knows that reaching the final here is a longshot, but he will still want to get some good minutes under his belt to ensure he is up to speed before the ATP Tour resumes. Cilic is one of the best players on the tour and he is definitely better than some current top 10 players, however, injuries have caused him to fall down a bit in the rankings. Expect Cilic to bounce back this year.

Danilo Petrovic will have a lot of confidence after he absolutely destroyed Alexander Zverev yesterday. Petrovic was very solid in his groundstrokes and he was also very concentrated on making sure he served well. Petrovic knows he has a tougher task at hand here, however, he also has nothing to lose. Petrovic is lucky to be here and he will make the most of the opportunity in my opinion. I expect Petrovic to come out and play solid tennis as he looks to beat another incredible player.

This will be the first meeting between both players and it will be a very interesting one. Both players enter this match with a 1-1 record and neither of them really stands a chance of making the final tonight. This match is more of a match for both players to have fun and get some minutes under their belt before the professional tour resumes. Both these players beat Zverev yesterday and I think that Cilic will end up beating Petrovic today. Cilic was getting better as the match went along yesterday and he will want to gain some momentum here. It might be a tight match, but Cilic should win it.
