Frances Tiafoe is definitely a player who needs the crowd to give him energy and get him motivated, and the fact that there have been crowds in the last few months have allowed him to shine again on the ATP Tour, getting some huge wins under his belt and showing us that he is still someone who can get back into the top 20 in the world.

Felix Auger-Aliassime had to fight off a comeback in the third round, beating the very tough and always returning, Roberto Bautista Agut in 5 sets 6-3/6-4/4-6/3-6/6-3. Felix was up and down in the entire match, but when it mattered most in the 5^th set, he came in clutch, showing us that he can beat players of incredible quality at grand slams. Felix will have to work hard to not let a comeback like this happen again because it can damage his confidence, but I am sure he will know that and be working hard behind the scenes.

Frances would have not expected to win this match if this was last year, but with the incredible last couple of months he’s had he will believe more in himself.
