The Chicago Sky and Las Vegas Aces face off on Sunday in a WNBA basketball showdown at Wintrust Arena. These two teams just faced off on Thursday and Las Vegas was able to come away with the 90-83 victory.

The Aces almost blew the game in the 3rd quarter, but they still found just enough offense to come away with the victory.

The Chicago Sky come into this game with a 14-14 record overall which puts them in second place in the Eastern Conference. The Sky had been playing better as of late, but they have lost two games in a row.Two starts ago the Phoenix Mercury gave up 103 points and the defense wasn’t much better in the last game. Chicago on the season is averaging 83.3 points per game while their defense is giving up 81 points per game. Kahleah Cooper has been the best player for the Sky averaging 14.8 points while shooting 45.7 percent from the field.

On the other side of this matchup is the Las Vegas Aces who sits with a 20-7 record overall which puts them in 1st place in the Western Conference. The Aces have won three games in a row and the offense has been the strength for this team. Las Vegas on the season is averaging 88.8 points per game while their defense is giving up 80.2 points per game. A’ja Wilson has been the best player for Las Vegas averaging 18.6 points while shooting 44.8 percent from the field.

The Aces scored plenty on Thursday when these two teams faced off on Thursday, and there will be plenty of scoring again in this game. Look for Las Vegas to run up the score again, Chicago will also attack an Aces defense that has had issues, and the over will cash.
