The Minnesota Lynx and Chicago Sky face off on Sunday in Round 2 of the WNBA playoffs at the Target Center. These two faced off in late August and the Lynx came away with the 101-95 victory.

Early in the season the Lynx looked like they might be having a down year, but that hasn’t been the case. The Lynx have been one of the hottest teams in the WNBA the last couple of months and they have dreams of taking home another title. The Lynx have won four games in a row and in three of those games they have scored at least 89 points. The Lynx are averaging 82.7 points per game while their defense is giving up 78.7 points per game. Napheesa Collier and Sylvia Fowles are both averaging at least 16 points per game. Those two are the stars, but this is a very balanced attack, with a deep bench.

On the other side of this matchup is the Chicago Sky who had a dominant win over the Dallas Wings to get to this point in the playoffs. The Sky have won two games in a row, but they have still been very inconsistent especially with the defense. The Sky on the season are averaging 83.3 points per game while their defense is giving up 81.9 points per game. Kahleah Copper has been the best player for the Sky averaging 14.4 points while shooting 45.9 percent from the field.

The Lynx’s offense is going to be the difference in this game. The Sky don’t have enough playmakers, something the Sky don’t have any shortage of. THe Lynx should win this game by at least 20 points. Back the Lynx against the spread.
