The Connecticut Sun and Las Vegas Aces face off on Sunday in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals at Mohegan Sun Arena.

The Aces sit with a 2-1 lead, but it was the Sun that were able to win the last game 105-76. The Aces were up 34-19, and they never looked back as they cruised to the blowout victory.  The Sun were led by Jonquel Jones, who finished with 20 points, five rebounds, and four assists. There were six different players that scored at least 10 WNBA. The top player for the Aces were Jackie Young, and she finished with 22 points, two rebounds, and two assists. A’ja Wilson added 19 points, four rebounds, and three assists.

The Aces are averaging 90.4 points, while their defense is giving up 84.1 points per game. The offense is ranked 1st in the league, while their defense is ranked 9th. This is an elite offensive team that pushes the pace, but too often this season the defense has had a game where they really struggled. In this game, if the Aces want to get the job done, the defense is going to need to have a big game. Kelsey Plum has been the top offensive player for the Aces, averaging 20.7 points while shooting 46 percent from the field. A’ja Wilson is also averaging 19.5 points while shooting 50.1 percent from the field.

On the other side of this matchup is the Sun, and they are averaging 85.8 points while their defense is giving up 77.8 points per game. The offense is ranked 3rd in the league, while their defense is ranked second in the league. The Sun are led by Jonquel Jones, and she is averaging 14.6 points while shooting 51.3 percent from the field and 36.9 percent from behind the three-point line. Brionna Jones is also averaging 13.8 points while shooting 57.1 percent from the field.

The Sun have the more consistent defense, and they are going to slow down the Aces’ offense again here. Connecticut might not score 105 points in this game, but they are going to score enough to get the job done here. Look for Connecticut to score at least 85 points here, and that will be enough to cover the spread.
