The Milwaukee Bucks play host to the Miami Heat at the Fiserv Forum on Monday night.

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat are now hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting thrashed by the Timberwolves in a 106-90 road loss on Saturday. Tyler Herro led the team with 22 points, Bam Adebayo added 19 points while Nikola Jovic and Duncan Robinson scored eight points apiece. As a team, the Heat shot just 40 percent from the field and 12 of 38 from the 3-point line as they got off to a decent start with 31 points in the first quarter, but they got colder as the game wore on, scoring just 37 points in the second half to allow the Timberwolves to blow them away in the end.

Milwaukee Bucks

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks kicked off their season with a thrilling win over the 76ers on Thursday, but now they are looking to bounce back after getting destroyed by the Hawks in a 127-110 home loss last night. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 26 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks, Malik Beasley added 18 points while Brook Lopez chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Bucks shot 45 percent from the field and 16 of 44 from the 3-point line, but they struggled to match the Hawks from the start and were never in the contest after falling behind by 68-47 going into halftime.Damian Lillard was the hero in his debut, but he struggled in this one as he scored just six points on two of 12 shooting while committing six turnovers.

Peter’s Pick

The Heat should have Kevin Love back on the court, but they are missing Caleb Martin and Josh Richardson, while the Bucks are still without Khris Middleton. The Heat could really do with a win to get their season on track after Saturday’s bad loss to the Timberwolves, but I don’t think they’re going to get it against this Bucks team coming off a rare blowout loss of their own. The Bucks will be so disappointed with how they played last night, but I think they make up for it here with a solid win and cover at the reasonable line.

Joe Hall's Free Pick: Milwaukee -5.5
