The Minnesota Twins and the Chicago White Sox meet Tuesday in MLB action from Guaranteed Rate Field. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Chicago White Sox vs Minnesota Twins Prediction.

Starting Pitching Matchup

The Minnesota Twins will send out Bailey Ober for the start here and Ober is 8-4 with a 4.12 ERA and 100 strikeouts this season. In his last five starts against the White Sox, Ober is 3-0 with a 3.07 ERA and 29 strikeouts. Minnesota Twins Recap

The Minnesota Twins come into this one looking to keep their momentum going after an 8-6 win in extra innings in Monday’s series opener. The win for the Twins kept the momentum going after their series win over the Astros over the weekend, building on their series win streak after knocking off the Tigers and Mariners in the last week and a half.

Twins Trying To Keep Ball Rolling

Going into Monday’s opener, Willi Castro leads the Twins at the dish with 86 hits including 22 doubles and 5 triples as well as 29 RBIs and 10 stolen bases. Ryan Jeffers has a team-high 14 home runs, 46 RBIs and 16 doubles with a .238 batting average and .326 OBP. Carlos Santana has 12 home runs with 40 RBIs while Carlos Correa has 11 home runs, 45 RBIs and 16 doubles. Jose Miranda has 20 doubles and Castro has a team-high 85 strikeouts so far this season.

Why the Minnesota Twins will win

  • The White Sox have lost each of their last 11 games at Guaranteed Rate Field following an extra innings loss.
  • The Twins have won each of their last nine games against the White Sox.
  • The Twins have covered the run line in each of their last eight road games after playing the previous day.
  • The White Sox have failed to cover the run line in each of their last eight games as home underdogs against American League opponents following a home loss.

Chicago White Sox Recap

The Chicago White Sox will try to bounce back after a disappointing start to the series, losing a heartbreaker in extra innings on Monday, another brick in the wall after series losses to the Marlins and Guardians over the last week.

White Sox Trying To Play Spoiler At This Point

Entering Monday’s action, Gavin Sheets has a .230 batting average and a .323 OBP along with a team-high 18 doubles and 29 RBIs while Andrew Vaughn also has 11 homers and 43 RBIs and Andrew Benintendi has 6 home runs and 24 RBIs with Vaughn logging 16 doubles as well as a team-high 77 hits. Paul DeJong also has a team-high 16 home runs and 36 RBIs with a team-high 96 strikeouts as well this season.

  • The White Sox have won three of their last four night games after playing the previous day.

  • The Twins have failed to cover the run line in eight of their last nine games as road favorites following an extra innings win.

Chicago White Sox vs Minnesota Twins Prediction

I’m on the Twins in this one. It just boils down to the Twins being the far more trustworthy team at this point in the year and I’m not even sure the White Sox have any interest or hold any stock in being viewed as a team that’s going to be able to play spoiler against teams in the playoff hunt. Fedde’s been solid, but I think it’s just a case of the offense behind him being hard to trust and I think the Twins get another W here. Give me the Twins.
