The struggling Milwaukee Bucks look to break out of their slump when they take on the Detroit Pistons tonight.
The Bucks have really been doing it tough lately. After losing in overtime against the 76ers on Friday, the Bucks failed to regroup and got thumped by the Bobcats by 96-72 the following night and it wasn't pretty. Khris Middleton led the team with 20 points off the bench while John Henson added 10, but no other player finished in double figures. Most disappointing was Caron Butler who scored just five points after pouring in 38 points the previous night, but you can't just point the finger at him because the whole team shot a miserable 35.3 percent from the field and got to the line just nine times the entire game.

Meanwhile, the Pistons haven't been running through opponents themselves but they are coming off a nice 109-97 win against the Nets last night. Greg Monroe led the starters with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Brandon Jennings added 14 points and 10 assists, but the star of the night was Rodney Stuckey who exploded for 27 points and six assists off the bench, including 17 points in the fourth quarter. With the win, Detroit improve to 5-8 on the season and 2-5 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Bucks are 0-5 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a double digit loss at home, while the Pistons are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following a win of more than 10 points and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall.
It's been pretty hard to watch the Bucks lately. On paper, they're not that bad but they just can't seem to catch a break and beat anyone at this point. On the other hand, the Pistons are coming off a strong win and look to be finding their feet at this early stage of the season so I'm definitely rolling with the better team at the moment.
