The Detroit Pistons will be looking to avoid a fourth straight loss tonight when they pay a visit to the Dallas Mavericks.
The Pistons have lost four of their last five and will be hoping to avoid a fourth straight loss after falling to the Pelicans by 103-101 on Friday. Brandon Jennings led the scoring with 28 points and seven assists, while Andre Drummond had a monster game of 21 points and 20 rebounds, but in typical fashion the Pistons let a 16-point lead slip as they lost on a clutch layup by Eric Gordon with just 1.9 seconds left on the clock. With the loss, Detroit fall to 17-26 overall and 7-15 at home.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks have lost four of their last six and are coming off back to back road losses after getting beaten by the Nets by 107-106 on Friday. Dirk Nowitzki shot just five of 15 to finish with 18 points while Vince Carter led the scoring with 19 points off the bench, but the Mavs just didn't gameplan for Mirza Teletovic who made seven three pointers on his way to a game-high 34 points off the bench. With the loss, Dallas falls to 25-20 overall and 11-13 on the road where they have lost their last two.
In ATS trends, the Pistons are 11-23 ATS in their last 34 games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Mavs are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games.
Head to head, the Mavs have won nine of the last 10 matchups against the Pistons, including the last six at home.
The Mavs have absolutely dominated the Pistons in the past and given how good they have been at home lately, you have to think it's going to be more of the same in this one.
