The Boston Celtics and the Utah Jazz duke it out at the Vivint Arena on Tuesday night.

The Boston Celtics have been in a bit of a rut lately as they’ve lost four of their past six games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting stopped by the Suns in a 100-91 road loss on Sunday. Jayson Tatum led the team with 23 points and seven assists, Kemba Walker added 14 points while Payton Pritchard and Daniel Theis each scored 12 points. As a team, the Celtics shot a horrible 35 percent from the field and 17 of 44 from the 3-point line as they trailed early after scoring just 19 points in the first quarter and they went cold again in the third quarter to fall behind by as many as 17 points. Walker had a night to forget as he shot just four of 20 from the field.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been on a tear lately as they’ve won 15 of their past 16 games and they will be gunning for a fifth straight victory after taking down the Pacers in a 103-95 road win on Sunday. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 27 points, nine rebounds and 11 assists, Bojan Bogdanovic added 18 points, Jordan Clarkson scored 17 points off the bench while Rudy Gobert chipped in with 16 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks. As a team, the Jazz shot just 40 percent from the field and 13 of 42 from the 3-point line, but they dominated on the defensive end as they held the Pacers to 39 percent shooting while winning the rebound battle by 61-45 which was the difference in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Celtics are 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record and 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a loss. The Jazz are 8-1 ATS in their last nine home games, 4-12-1 ATS in their last 17 games against a team with a winning record and 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 12-5 in the last 17 meetings in Utah and the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall.

The Celtics have struggled without Marcus Smart and they will be keen to bounce back after shooting just 35 percent against the Suns on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Jazz have been the hottest team in the league and they’re getting it done on both ends of the floor, but they will have to play this one without Mike Conley who is sitting out with a hamstring injury. This should be a close one, but I’m sticking with the Jazz to get the win and cover at home.
