The best player in this series is Luka Doncic, at least in terms of who is playing the best basketball right now. Over his last two games, he is averaging 34 points, and that number would have been higher if they hadn’t blown out the Phoenix Suns in the last game. The Warriors beat the shorthanded Grizzlies in the last series, but they didn’t even look all that impressive. Look for Doncic to have a big game, and the Mavericks will keep this game close. The Mavericks are going to keep it close because of their offense. Two games ago, the Mavericks scored 113 points, and in the last game, Dallas scored 123 points. I expect the Warriors will also be fine playing the faster pace. The Warriors scored 110 points in the last game. The pace of this game is going to be quick, and the over is going to cash. Klay Thompson finally got hot in the last game, scoring 30 points, but for most of the playoffs, he has had some issues. He has taken a ton of tough three-pointers, and they haven’t been following. In five of the last seven games, Thompson has finished with 19 or fewer points. I expect Thompson to finish with 15 or fewer points, and this plus money bet is going to cash.
It’s hit on above, but Luka Doncic is going to have a big game here. Luka Doncic is coming off a game where he scored 35 points, and he will have no issue scoring again here.
