The Golden State Warriors play host to the Detroit Pistons at the Chase Center on Wednesday night.

The Detroit Pistons have been in a rut as they’ve lost eight of their last 10 games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting destroyed by the Trail Blazers in a 135-106 road loss on Monday. Bojan Bogdanovic led the team with 21 points on eight of 15 shooting, Alec Burks added 19 points on five of 11 shooting while Hamidou Diallo chipped in with 16 points on seven of nine shooting off the bench. As a team, the Pistons shot just 41 percent from the field and six of 18 from the 3-point line as they got off to a nice start to take the early lead until the Trail Blazers exploded for 39 points in the second quarter to lead from that point onwards.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors will be eager to build on their current five-game win streak after blowing past the Hawks in a 143-141 double overtime win on Monday. Klay Thompson led the team with a season-high 54 points on 21 of 39 shooting, Jordan Poole added 28 points with six rebounds and five assists while Kevon Looney chipped in with 14 points, 20 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 44 percent from the field and 19 of 59 from the 3-point line as they squandered an early 21-point lead, before rallying to extend the game and win at the buzzer in the second overtime thanks to Looney who made the game-winning layup with time expiring.

Looking at the betting trends, the Pistons are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games, 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Warriors are 52-23-3 ATS in their last 78 home games, 5-0-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record and 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the Pistons are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Pistons are still missing Cade Cunningham, Marvin Bagley and Isaiah Livers, while the Warriors are still without Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga and JaMychal Green. The Pistons haven’t been able to build any momentum lately and their confidence took another hit after getting blown out by the Trail Blazers in their last outing. The Warriors have been on fire lately, especially at home, and I think that trend continues here as the Warriors get the win and cover.
