The Golden State Warriors play host to the Detroit Pistons at the Chase Center on Wednesday night.
The Detroit Pistons have been in a rut as they’ve lost eight of their last 10 games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting destroyed by the Trail Blazers in a 135-106 road loss on Monday. Bojan Bogdanovic led the team with 21 points on eight of 15 shooting, Alec Burks added 19 points on five of 11 shooting while Hamidou Diallo chipped in with 16 points on seven of nine shooting off the bench. Klay Thompson led the team with a season-high 54 points on 21 of 39 shooting, Jordan Poole added 28 points with six rebounds and five assists while Kevon Looney chipped in with 14 points, 20 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 44 percent from the field and 19 of 59 from the 3-point line as they squandered an early 21-point lead, before rallying to extend the game and win at the buzzer in the second overtime thanks to Looney who made the game-winning layup with time expiring.
