76ers vs Jazz Player Prop Bets – Lauri Markkanen Over 32.5 Points and Rebounds (-110)
Lauri Markkanen leads the Jazz in points (23.5), rebounds (8.7), and minutes per game (32.5) this season. Utah suffered a pair of big losses in the last two games in which Markkanen combined for just 29 points. Now, he has a favorable matchup against Philadelphia, who will be without Joel Embiid.
Lauri’s direct matchup is Nic Batum, who is a good defender, but Markkanen has a height advantage and I don’t think the aging Batum can cope with the flying Finnish international. The last time he met the Sixers, Markkanen dropped 33 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. He also made five triples, and he makes a career-high 3.2 triples per game this season, I believe this bet is a slamdunk.
Philadelphia allows 23.2 ppg and 11.0 rpg to the opposing forwards this year. Without Embiid to secure the paint, I am backing Lauri to get multiple offensive rebounds. This season, he averages a career-high 2.4 offensive boards per contest.
Kelly Oubre Jr. Over 23.5 Points and Rebounds (-120)
Kelly Oubre Jr’s numbers significantly dropped from his time with Charlotte, Golden State, and Phoenix. He averages 13.3 ppg and 4.3 rpg in 27.8 mpg this season, but the Sixers will play without Embiid, Covington, and Melton against the Jazz, while Tyrese Maxey could be limited with an ankle injury.
That means Oubre and Harris could get an increased workload. Oubre logged 31+ minutes in each of the last three games and combined for 30+ PTS and REB in two. Kelly scored 24 points with four rebounds in the previous H2H with Utah, and I expect a similar outcome this time out.
Collin Sexton, who will guard Oubre Jr. in this one, is not a good defender, so Kelly should exploit a height advantage and score around 20 points. Utah allows 22.7 ppg and 6.3 rpg to the opposing shooting guards.
