The Utah Jazz pay a visit to the Denver Nuggets at the Ball Arena on Monday night.

The Utah Jazz will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting scorched by the Suns in a 126-104 road loss on Saturday. Lauri Markkanen led the team with 19 points, Collin Sexton added 14 points with six assists while John Collins tallied 11 points and 10 rebounds. As a team, the Jazz shot 44 percent from the field and 12 of 37 from the 3-point line, but they were in trouble right from the start, falling behind by 16 points going into halftime, before they leaked 40 points in the third quarter to see the margin balloon out to 33 points at one stage. 

Denver Nuggets

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets have yet to put a foot wrong this season as they are now gunning for a fourth straight victory after blowing past the Thunder in a 128-95 road win last night. Nikola Jokic led the team with 28 points, 14 rebounds and five assists, Michael Porter Jr. added 20 points while Jamal Murray tallied 19 points with eight assists on nine of 14 shooting. As a team, the Nuggets shot a sizzling 60 percent from the field and 11 of 27 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running and never took their foot off the gas in their most dominant win of the season so far.

The Jazz are keeping an eye on Ochai Agbaji who is questionable for this one, while the Nuggets will again be without Jay Huff. The Jazz have yet to get going this season and their confidence took a real hit on Saturday when they got destroyed by the shorthanded Suns. The Nuggets have picked up right from where they left off last season and they looked great in last night’s dominant road win over the Thunder. The Nuggets won’t be able to shoot over 60 percent from the field like they did last night, but I think they stay undefeated with another win and cover in this one.
