The Denver Nuggets travel to the Chase Center to take on the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

The Denver Nuggets have been in fine form as they’ve won nine of their past 13 games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after taking down the Magic in a 121-111 home win on Monday. Nikola Jokic led the team with 26 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists, Jeff Green and Will Barton each scored 17 points while Bryn Forbes chipped in with 16 points on five of seven shooting off the bench. As a team, the Nuggets shot 47 percent from the field and 16 of 40 from the 3-point line, but they got off to a terrible start and were always fighting an uphill battle after scoring just 14 points in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have cooled off since their nine-game win streak as they’ve now lost three of their past four games after falling short to the Clippers in a 119-104 road loss on Monday. Stephen Curry drained eight 3-pointers to lead the team with 33 points on 11 of 18 shooting, Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole each scored 13 points while Jonathan Kuminga chipped in with 10 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 45 percent from the field and 16 of 41 from the 3-point line as they trailed going into halftime, despite pouring in 37 points in the first quarter, before getting blown out in the third quarter by 33-19 to fall behind by as many as 25 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Nuggets are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven road games, 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Warriors are 0-4 ATS in their last four home games, 18-8-1 ATS in their last 27 games against a team with a winning record and 0-5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the under is 5-0 in the last five meetings overall, the Nuggets are 1-5-1 ATS in the sat seven meetings in Golden State and the Nuggets are 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings overall.

The Warriors are still without James Wiseman, Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green, while the Nuggets will be missing Michael Porter Jr and Jamal Murray while Monte Morris is listed as questionable. These two teams have already met once this season with the Nuggets winning by 89-86 back on Dec 28 and I’m expecting another close one. The Nuggets are only 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and I think that trend continues here as the Warriors should be too good at home.
