The Milwaukee Bucks have been in fine form as they’ve won eight of their last 10 games overall and they will be gunning for a seventh straight win after beating the Clippers in a 113-106 win on Monday. Damian Lillard led the team with 41 points on 12 of 22 shooting, Bobby Portis added 28 points and 16 rebounds off the bench while Patrick Beverley chipped in with 12 points, nine rebounds and four steals. As a team, the Bucks shot 47 percent from the field and 15 of 38 from the 3-point line as they allowed the Clippers off to a flyer and had to work their way back from a 15-point deficit, before they exploded for 40 points in the fourth quarter to cap off the comeback win at home despite Malik Beasley scoring just seven points on two of 11 shooting.
Golden State Warriors
Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been on fire as they’ve won 11 of their last 14 games overall, but they are now looking to bounce back after getting embarrassed by the Celtics in a 140-88 road loss on Sunday. Lester Quinones led the team in scoring with 17 points off the bench while Moses Moody added 11 points, but they didn’t get enough from their starters as Klay Thompson scored just six points while Stephen Curry had a nightmare of a game as he scored just four points on two of 13 shooting. As a team, the Warriors shot just 39 percent from the field and seven of 41 from the 3-point line, but this was one of those games that was over in the blink of an eye as the Warriors were already trailing by 82-38 going into halftime. The Warriors will take on the Bulls after this one.

The Bucks would’ve taken so much confidence from their gritty win over the Clippers on Monday, but I don’t think they will replicate that effort against this Warriors team who have had three days to dwell on their worst loss of the season. I think the Warriors come out swinging and come away with the bounce back win at home against this banged up Bucks unit.
