Only four NBA games are on the schedule for Thursday, February 1, so make sure to check out the Lakers vs Celtics Player Prop Bets. The Los Angeles Lakers travel to Boston hoping to avoid the third defeat in a row, while the Boston Celtics are searching for the third consecutive victory.

Lakers vs Celtics Player Prop Bets – LeBron James To Record a Double-Double (+120)

LeBron James is dealing with an ankle issue and is questionable to play tonight. With Anthony Davis also questionable and having slimmer chances to play than LeBron, I am backing James, if he plays, to lead the Lakers in all key segments.

James registered three double-doubles in the last four games, including a monster triple-double against the Warriors.  Boston does have the strongest defense in the NBA against power forwards, allowing 20.5 ppg, but the Celtics do allow 10.4 rpg, so LeBron has a solid chance to get another DD here.

James flirted with a triple-double the last time he met the Celtics. He was bad from the field (5-14 for 16 points) but had nine rebounds and eight assists. If Davis misses this one, I am sure LeBron will be the Lakers’ top rebounder in Boston.

Jayson Tatum Over 36.5 Points and Rebounds (-110)

Jayson Tatum leads the Celtics in both points (26.9) and rebounds (8.4) per game this year. In three of the last five games, Tatum combined for 37+ PTS and REB and scored 26+ points in three games during that stretch.

The Celtics are top of the NBA when it comes to rebounds per game (47.2), while the Lakers are 20th in allowing 44.2 rpg to the opponents. Even though the Lakers allow 9.2 rpg to the opposing power forwards, they do allow 24.2 ppg to PFs. Tatum could easily register a double-double here, something he managed to do in three of the past five outings.

The only problem in the Lakers vs Celtics Player Prop Bets could be a potential blowout if both James and Davis don’t play. I don’t think the rest of the Lakers can stay competitive for long against Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and co. Stay tuned close to the tip-off and see if the two Lakers’ best players are playing before making a bet.
