The Memphis Grizzlies play host to the Phoenix Suns at the FedExForum on Saturday night.

The Phoenix Suns have been in great shape lately as they’ve won 10 of their past 12 games and they will be looking to stay hot after blowing past the Pelicans in a 132-114 road win last night. Devin Booker led the team with 23 points on nine of 18 shooting, Jae Crowder added 20 points on seven of nine shooting off the bench, DeAndre Ayton scored 16 points with 16 rebounds while Chris Paul chipped in with 15 points and 19 assists. As a team, the Suns shot a sizzling 58 percent from the field and 22 of 39 from the 3-point line as they looked to be struggling as they fell behind by 11 points, before dominating the fourth quarter by 41-12 to win in a flurry in the end.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in decent form themselves as they’ve won four of their past six games and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after taking down the Pistons in a 109-95 home win last night. Ja Morant led the team with 29 points on 10 of 23 shooting, Jonas Valanciunas added 17 points with 15 rebounds while Kyle Anderson chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 46 percent from the field and a miserly five of 20 from the 3-point line as they were slow out of the gates and always fighting an uphill battle after scoring just 17 points in the first quarter.

Looking at the betting trends, the Suns are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games playing on zero days’ rest, 11-5 ATS in their last 16 road games and 25-10 ATS in their last 35 games overall. The Grizzlies are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games playing on zero days’ rest and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team above .600.

Head to head, the under is 5-0 in the last five meetings overall, the Suns are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings overall and the Suns are 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings in Memphis.

You could make an argument for either side here, but the Suns have been the more consistent team and they are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games playing on zero days’ rest. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Grizzlies get the win, but with the line so short and with Dillon Brooks already ruled out, I’m taking the Suns and their backcourt to escape with the win and cover here.
