Jayson Tatum led the team with 32 points and 11 rebounds on 10 of 20 shooting, Jaylen Brown added 23 points, Kristaps Porzingis scored 22 points on eight of 10 shooting while Jrue Holiday chipped in with 18 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists. As a team, the Celtics shot 47 percent from the field and 15 of 45 from the 3-point line as they turned it on in the 36-24 second quarter to take control of the contest, but they couldn’t put the Nets away until they went on a 14-4 run in the fourth quarter.

Anthony Edwards led the team with 31 points, eight rebounds and six assists on 13 of 19 shooting, Karl-Anthony Towns added 25 points while Naz Reid chipped in with 16 points off the bench. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 55 percent from the field and nine of 24 from the 3-point line as they took a narrow lead into halftime, before they dominated the second half by 68-45 to make it look easy in the end.

The Celtics are keeping an eye on Osahe Brissett who is questionable for this one, while the Timberwolves are are still missing Jaylen Clark. The Celtics come into this one as the hottest team in the league with a perfect 5-0 record after beating the Nets on Saturday, while the Timberwolves are starting to heat up after dismantling the Jazz with ease in their last game. This is certainly a game that the Timberwolves can win if they get off to a strong start, but the Celtics have been the more consistent and reliable team so far, so I’m taking Boston to get the win and cover at the short line here.
