Minnesota Timberwolves vs Philadelphia 76ers Prediction 2/22/26 NBA Picks Today

The Philadelphia 76ers invade the Target Center to battle the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night.

The Philadelphia 76ers have gone cold recently as they’ve dropped five of their last six games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a four-game slide after getting trounced by the Pelicans in a 126-111 road defeat last night. Tyrese Maxey led the team with 27 points and seven assists, Kelly Oubre Jr added 25 points while VJ Edgecombe chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the 76ers shot 38 percent from the field and 12 of 46 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 65 points in the first half to lead by 11 points, but they were flat coming out of halftime and got blown out by 69-46 in the second half to suffer a fourth straight defeat.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been in great shape as they’ve won eight of their last 11 games overall and they will be aiming for a fourth straight victory after routing the depleted Mavericks in a 122-111 win on Friday. Anthony Edwards led the team with 40 points on 16 of 30 shooting, Rudy Gobert added 22 points with 17 rebounds and three blocks while Naz Reid chipped in with 21 points, seven rebounds and four assists off the bench. As a team, the Timberwolves set the tone with 40 points in the first quarter to set up an 18-point lead before Gobert committed a flagrant foul which turned the momentum of the game. The Mavericks were allowed to climb all the way back into the contest, but fortunately, the Timberwolves turned to Edwards who poured in 14 points in the fourth quarter to carry the team over the line.

The 76ers are shorthanded once again with Joel Embiid still out, while the Timberwolves are coming in with a full squad once again. The 76ers have really struggled during this losing streak and now they are playing on zero days’ rest against the Timberwolves who are on a roll at the moment. This is the first meeting between these two squads, but based on recent form, I am comfortable taking the Timberwolves to continue their strong run with another win and cover at this reasonable line.
