The Sacramento Kings invade the Smoothie King Center to battle the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night.

The Sacramento Kings have been in fine form as they’ve won four of their last six games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting beaten by the lowly Spurs in a 142-134 overtime loss on Sunday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 28 points, Domantas Sabonis added 26 points with eight rebounds and six assists while Keegan Murray chipped in with 18 points on seven of 10 shooting. As a team, the Kings shot 47 percent from the field and 11 of 44 from the 3-point line as they clawed their way back from an 11-point deficit to extend the game, only to allow 19 points in overtime to allow the Spurs off the hook in the end.

Meanwhile, the New Orleans Pelicans have been in red-hot form as they’ve reeled off seven wins in their past eight outings and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after beating the Clippers in a 122-114 win on Saturday. Brandon Ingram led the team with 36 points and eight assists on 13 of 23 shooting, Jonas Valanciunas added 23 points with 12 rebounds while CJ McCollum and Trey Murphy scored 19 points apiece. As a team, the Pelicans shot 48 percent from the field and seven of 17 from the 3-point line as they poured in 34 points in the second quarter to erase an early 12-point deficit, before they poured in 67 points in the second half to complete the comeback.

Looking at the betting trends, the Kings are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games following a loss and 34-16-1 ATS in their last 51 road games. The Pelicans are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against a team above .600 and 7-1 ATS in their last eight games overall.

Head to head, the under is 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings overall and the Kings are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in New Orleans.

The Kings have listed Malik Monk as questionable, while the Pelicans are still without Zion Williamson and Jose Alvarado. The Kings were on a nice run before they got stopped in their tracks by the ice-cold Spurs on Sunday, but they won’t get any empathy from the Pelicans who are quietly playing some of their best basketball of the season. You can make an argument for either side here, but the Pelicans are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games overall and I think they can keep it going wither another win here.
