The Sacramento Kings have been in great form as they were on a six-game win streak before they got stopped by the Pelicans in a 129-93 road loss on Monday. Harrison Barnes led the team with 16 points, De’Aaron Fox added 14 points while Kevin Huerter and Domantas Sabonis scored 10 points each. As a team, the Kings shot just 37 percent from the field and 11 of 45 from the 3-point line as they struggled to contain the Pelicans, falling behind by 13 points going into halftime and things only got worse in the third quarter where they managed just 16 points.

Meanwhile, the New Orleans are starting to heat up with three wins in their past four games overall and they will be feeling pretty good after blowing past the Kings in a 129-93 home win on Monday. Brandon Ingram led the team with 31 points, Zion Williamson added 26 points on 12 of 16 shooting while Herbert Jones chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Pelicans shot 54 percent from the field and 12 of 28 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest with 37 points in the second quarter and they just didn’t take their foot off the gas until the final buzzer to make it a complete blowout.

The Kings are still missing Trey Lyles and Keon Ellis, while the Pelicans are still without CJ McCollum, Matt Ryan and Trey Murphy. Both teams are coming into this meeting in strong form, but it’s the Pelicans who will be feeling good after getting the massive win on Monday. The Kings didn’t come out with the right intensity and got burned on Sunday, but I don’t think it will happen two games in a row. The Kings have been one of the best teams in the league so far and I think they bounce back and get their revenge here.
