The San Antonio Spurs travel to the Chesapeake Energy Arena to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.

The San Antonio Spurs have been in pretty good shape lately as they’ve won five of their past six games, but because their last four games have been postponed, they haven’t seen the court since their 122-110 road win over the Hornets last Monday. Dejounte Murray led the team with 26 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, Derrick White added 25 points with four assists while Keldon Johnson chipped in with 18 points and eight rebounds. As a team, the Spurs shot 50 percent from the field and 10 of 34 from the 3-point line as they rallied back from an early 16-point deficit with 47 points in an explosive second quarter, before pulling away in the fourth quarter where they outscored the Hornets by 33-21 to make it a blowout.

Meanwhile the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in a slump lately as they’ve lost seven of their past nine games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting routed by the Heat in a 108-94 home loss on Monday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 27 points and five assists on 10 of 15 shooting, Darius Bazley added 13 points while Luguentz Dort chipped in with 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Thunder shot just 43 percent from the field and 14 of 39 from the 3-point line as they got off to a solid start to take a nine-point lead into halftime, but they couldn’t keep up the pace at all as the Heat dominated the second half where they were outscored by 63-40.

Looking at the betting trends, the Spurs are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team below .400 and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Thunder are 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 home games, 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings in Oklahoma City, the Spurs are 7-17 ATS in the last 24 meetings in Oklahoma City and the Spurs are 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall.

Rudy Gay is out for Wednesday while LaMarcus Aldridge is considered questionable, so the Spurs could be severely shorthanded for this one. The Thunder haven’t been able to get anything going in recent games and they will be disappointed after they were blown out by the Heat in their last outing. The Spurs will be undermanned in this one, but they haven’t played in over a week and they are 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall. This should be a close one, but I’m banking on the Spurs to resume their season with a narrow win and cover in this one.
